Lakshya and Ananya Panday to Star in Karan Johar's Romantic Drama 'Chand Mera Dil'

Karan, who has been teasing a return to romance on social media, announced this project featuring the popular young stars in a completely new light.On Thursday, Karan Johar and Dharma Productions shared several posters of “Chand Mera Dil,” showcasing the unique chemistry between Lakshya and Ananya.

The posters emphasize a modern, heartfelt love story between a boy-next-door and a simple girl-next-door, with Ananya styled in a traditional look, a departure from her recent films.Lakshya, who made a bold debut in the action thriller “Kill,” is now ready to show his romantic side in this film. This marks his second project with Dharma Productions.

Ananya will also be stepping into a pure romantic drama for the first time, moving beyond her usual mix of romance and comedy.While much about the film is still under wraps, “Chand Mera Dil,” directed by Vivek Soni, is set for a 2025 release.
