Saif Ali Khan's Rs 15,000 Crore Property Faces Government Takeover Amid Legal Battle

Saif Ali Khan Faces Risk of Losing Rs 15,000 Crore Property in Bhopal

Saif Ali Khan may lose his ancestral property in Bhopal, worth Rs 15,000 crore, due to a legal dispute. The Madhya Pradesh High Court lifted a stay on the property, allowing the government to potentially take possession. The Pataudi family, which owns the land, failed to appeal by the January 13 deadline, and now only has the option to challenge the decision in a division bench.

The property, part of Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s legacy, is subject to the Enemy Property Act, as the Nawab’s elder daughter, Abida, went to Pakistan post-partition. The family’s claim to the property is contested, as most of it has already been sold. The government may now take control of the remaining assets under this law.

This news comes amid Saif Ali Khan's recovery from an attack at his home by a Bangladeshi intruder on January 16. The assailant, who was caught after a manhunt, reportedly entered India illegally.
