AR Rahman, Madras Talkies Fined ₹2 Crore Over Copyright Infringement

The court directed Rahman and Madras Talkies to correct the song credits across platforms and deposit ₹2 crore. Justice Prathiba M. Singh emphasized that original classical compositions are protected under copyright law. The case highlights the need to respect and safeguard India's classical music legacy.
