After making hurtful comments about Telugu people and Dravidians, actress Kasthuri has fled the city and is now absconding. In response, Tamil Nadu police have deployed two special force teams to track her down and arrest her.

Kasthuri’s controversial remarks were made during a demonstration in Egmore, Chennai, on November 3, where she spoke negatively about Dravidians and the presence of Telugu people in Tamil Nadu. This sparked outrage among certain communities, who filed complaints with the police.

Realizing her mistake, the 50-year-old actress, who has a history of controversies, apologized for her comments through social media. Despite her apology, several cases were filed against her in various regions. Kasthuri has now applied for anticipatory bail in the Madurai High Court, arguing that the cases were registered with hidden political motives. While the actress awaits the decision, the police continue their search for her.
