Amid rumors that Chandramukhi makers demanded Rs 5 crore from Nayanthara for using the footage in her documentary, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) has surfaced, confirming no such demand was made. The NOC granted Rowdy Pictures permission to use clips from the 2005 film Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale on Netflix. Earlier, Nayanthara faced legal issues with Dhanush, who refused to allow footage from their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and demanded Rs 10 crore in damages. The documentary is currently streaming on Netflix.
