Farhan Akhtar's '120 Bahadur' Made Tax-Free in Delhi
Delhi, India: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced that the war film 120 Bahadur will be tax-free in the city, honoring the heroism of Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment and Major Shaitan Singh Bhati.
The movie, which portrays the legendary bravery of the soldiers during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, particularly at the Battle of Rezang La, has been recognized for its tribute to courage and sacrifice.
In a post on X, CM Gupta highlighted that the film “celebrates the extraordinary courage, leadership, and sacrifice of the 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought with unmatched bravery.”
She further stated, “To pay homage to these valiant soldiers, the Delhi government has decided to make 120 Bahadur tax-free in Delhi starting November 28.”
The film also emphasizes the inspirational leadership of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, whose bravery and ultimate sacrifice continue to serve as an enduring symbol of heroism in India’s military history.
