The Tamil coming-of-age film Youth, directed by Ken Karunas, is all set to make its digital debut. After witnessing a positive theatrical response in Tamil and a decent reception in its Telugu release, the film will begin streaming on Netflix from April 16.

Story Overview

The narrative follows Praveen, a 15-year-old boy and the only son of Unnikrishnan (played by Suraj Venjaramoodu) and Saroja (Devadarshini), who run a bakery. While his mother is affectionate, his father remains critical of his behavior.

As Praveen progresses through his school years, he becomes determined to experience love before completing his education. His interactions with classmates Gangavalli (Anisha Anil Kumar), Preshika (Meenakshi Dinesh), and Sonal (Priyancy Yadav) shape his emotional journey.

The film explores his experiences of attraction, rejection, heartbreak, and personal growth from Class 10 through Intermediate, ultimately highlighting the lessons he learns and whether he fulfills both his own aspirations and his parents' expectations.
