Mr. Housekeeping Movie Review

South Indian films have a unique native flavor. These movies, no matter what language they are translated into in India, always resonate with the audience as our own stories. South filmmakers, including Tamil directors, take a simple line and combine it with an engaging screenplay, bringing it to the audience. Tamil director Arun Ravichandran is no exception. He has crafted a routine love story, added a wonderful message in the background, and spiced it up with fantastic comedy, offering a delightful film in "Mr. Housekeeping."

The movie has been loved by the audience, and it is certainly worth watching. The story revolves around Honest Raj, who has been in love with Isai since college. However, Isai does not reciprocate his feelings and gets tired of him. Honest Raj is incredibly lazy; after eating, he even asks for a finger bowl to clean his hands, just like in a hotel. Raj’s mother is very proud of her son, but his father constantly scolds him. One day, Raj accidentally gets involved with a blackmailing gang through his father’s phone. He ends up joining the housekeeping team without knowing and gets assigned to work at Isai’s house.

Raj, unaware that Isai is the one he once loved, starts working at her house. He ends up impressing Isai, who is planning to marry her colleague Harish. However, Raj believes that Isai is in love with him. Will Raj, who came in as a housekeeper, win Isai’s heart? Will Isai, who is about to marry Harish, accept Raj’s love? These questions unfold in the movie, streaming on Prime Video. This is a must-watch for today’s generation. The director deserves applause for delivering a meaningful message about the "living together" trend in a cinematic language. It’s a film that employees should watch with their parents to understand a lot about life.
