- Rating: 2.75/5
Story:
Shyam (Sathyaraj), a psychiatrist, and his granddaughter Nidhi (Meghna) search for a missing treasure after Nidhi disappears one night. Meanwhile, Ram (Vashishtha Simha) and Deva (Kranthi Kiran) try to raise money for their own goals. The film revolves around the treasure hunt, revenge, and connections to Barbarik’s three arrows from the Mahabharata.
Analysis:
- Despite its mythological title, the film is mainly a routine crime thriller. The first half engages with present-past shifts, but the narrative is slow. Background music enhances key moments, and a few climax twists work, though experienced viewers may predict them.
Performances:
- Vashishtha Simha shines in dual roles; Sanchi Rai handles emotional and romantic scenes well; Sathyaraj is convincing as a worried grandfather; Meghna fits her granddaughter role; Udayabhanu impresses as a Telangana lady don. The supporting cast delivers notable performances.
Technical Aspects:
- Cinematography is strong, especially for night scenes; background score is effective; songs are average; editing could be sharper; production is well-executed.
Verdict:
- A predictable crime thriller loosely linked to Barbarik’s three arrows.
