Story:
Kittu (Vijay Antony) is a powerful mediator in the Secretariat, capable of elevating or demoting anyone—but every favor has a price. His world collapses when he confronts political strategist Abhyankar Shankar (Sunil Kriplani), tied to a massive Rs. 6,236 crore scam. The film explores whether Kittu is corrupt or hiding a larger agenda.
- Pros: The film opens strongly, showcasing Kittu’s influence. Arun Prabu’s brisk direction, sharp dialogues, and intriguing setups keep the pace, while Vijay Antony, Cell Murugan, and Sunil Kriplani deliver notable performances. Key sequences like the scam revelation stand out, supported by crisp editing and tense music.
- Cons: Its serious tone limits mainstream appeal, the plot can be confusing, and several characters—including Tripti Ravindra and Ram Pandey—are underutilized amid too many secondary roles.
- Verdict: Bhadrakaali has gripping political moments and strong performances, but suffers from uneven execution and underdeveloped characters. Suitable for political drama fans with tempered expectations.
