The iconic 1981 Bollywood film Silsila, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, and Jaya Bachchan, is set for a re-release in theaters on February 7. Despite its initial box office failure, the film's love triangle and unforgettable music gained popularity over time, especially on TV and OTT platforms. Directed by Yash Chopra, Silsila is remembered for its memorable dialogues and songs. Interestingly, Parveen Babi was originally considered for Rekha's role but was replaced due to controversy. Amitabh Bachchan continues to host Kaun Banega Crorepati and will also appear in Kalki 2898 AD, while Jaya Bachchan will star in Dil Ka Darwaza Khol Na Darling.
