54th GST Council meeting
Today, the 54th GST Council meeting is being chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi. A press conference is expected to follow at 5 pm to announce the outcomes of the meeting. According to CNBC-TV18, Uttarakhand Finance Minister Premchand Aggarwal noted that no decisions have been made regarding the proposed 18% GST on payment aggregators for transactions under Rs 2,000.
