Telangana Government Signs Major Agreement with Amazon AWS

Hyderabad, Telangana, India: Telangana has secured yet another significant investment deal. Amazon Web Services (AWS) has entered into an agreement with the government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to expand its presence in the state. Under this partnership, Amazon will strengthen its data-center operations by investing ?58,000 crore (approximately 7 billion USD).
This collaboration is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing Telangana’s digital infrastructure network. According to officials, such large-scale investments will support the state government’s vision of transforming Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by the year 2047. As part of the agreement, Amazon will receive support in areas including land allocation, power supply, public transportation, permits, and overall business facilitation.
Hyderabad to Grow Further as India’s Data Centre Hub
With the expansion of AWS in Telangana, Hyderabad is set to strengthen its position as one of India’s key data-centre destinations. Backed by the state government, new initiatives will be rolled out to promote artificial intelligence, cloud technology, digital infrastructure, and technological innovation.
Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu noted that Amazon’s investment will significantly boost job creation, accelerate innovation, and contribute to the technological growth of the state.
