Reliance Jio has announced a significant tariff hike, effective from July 3, 2024, affecting its mobile recharge plans. The base offer, previously Rs. 155, will now cost Rs. 189, marking a 22% increase. Similarly, the Rs. 209 plan will rise to Rs. 249, both offering a 28-day validity. Despite the price adjustments, data benefits remain unchanged. Jio has also introduced new recharge and 5G unlimited plans, discontinuing the unlimited 5G data option at Rs. 239, now priced at Rs. 299. Additionally, Jio unveiled JioSafe and JioTranslate apps, with JioSafe starting at Rs. 199 and JioTranslate at Rs. 99, offering free access for a year to Jio users.
