The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that registration for students in Class 9 and Class 11 for the 2025 board exams will begin on September 18, 2024. Schools affiliated with CBSE must complete the registration process by October 16, 2024, to avoid a late fee. Registrations can be submitted through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

To be eligible to appear in the Class 10 and 12 board exams for the 2025-26 academic session, students' names and details must be submitted by their respective schools. Before submitting these details, schools need to ensure they are registered on the portal provided by CBSE.

Additionally, schools must confirm that the students are enrolled in authorized CBSE-affiliated institutions and are not registered with other education boards.

Principals and school administrators are instructed to accurately fill in the students' names, along with those of their parents or guardians, and other required information.

While scholarships awarded by various organizations and state governments may consider students' financial status, CBSE has stated that schools should not request Income Tax Returns or other proof of income from parents.
