Dhruv Patel Miss India Worldwide 2024 winner
Miss India Worldwide 2024: Dhruva Patel, based in the U.S., has been crowned Miss India Worldwide 2024 at a ceremony held in Edison, New Jersey. Expressing her joy, Dhruva stated, "I am thrilled to be the winner of this competition. "I'm truly grateful to receive this recognition."
She emphasized that the recognition brings her more happiness than the crown itself, viewing it as a reflection of her culture and values. "This award has the potential to inspire others globally," she added, sharing her aspirations of becoming a Bollywood actor and a UNICEF ambassador.
Currently studying computer information systems in the U.S., Dhruva noted that these competitions have a long history of taking place outside India. The first runner-up was Lisa Abdoelhawk from Suriname, while Malvika Sharma from the Netherlands secured the second runner-up position.
In the Mrs. category, Suan Mouty from Trinidad and Tobago was crowned the winner, with Sneha Nambiar and Pawandeep Kaur from Britain taking the first and second runner-up spots, respectively. In the Teen category, Sierra Suret from Guadeloupe was named Miss Teen India Worldwide.
The Miss India Worldwide pageant is organized annually by the India Festival Committee based in New York, with Indian Americans Neelam and Dharmatma Saran hosting the event. They have been running this competition for over three decades.
