Renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee created history as the first Indian designer to grace the prestigious Met Gala carpet. He attended the fashion event on Tuesday, May 7 wearing a long coat and jewellery from Sabyasachi High Jewellery.
The designer shared her photos on social media describing the outfit as an embroidered cotton duster coat from the Sabyasachi Resort 2024 collection studded with tourmalines, pearls, emeralds and diamonds from Sabyasachi High Jewellery. Savyasachi posted a video of her posing for photographers on the Met Gala carpet on her official Instagram account. In addition, they were allowed to walk on the streets of New York City.
