Oracle Lays Off 3,000+ Employees In Cloud Division Via Zoom

Oracle Lays Off

Oracle has laid off over 3,000 cloud division employees globally, including India and the US, in brief Zoom calls under the guise of “project updates.” The OCI teams, including engineering, AI/ML, and data centre operations, were most affected.

Employees described the process as sudden and cold, with severance ranging from 1 to 12 months’ pay. Software development, consulting, and technical architecture roles faced the biggest cuts.
