According to the company, the new Verna includes more than 25 improvements across different areas including styling, connectivity, and driving features. Industry reports suggest that this is among the most feature-packed vehicles currently available in its segment.

The exterior design features a black chrome radiator grille, dual LED projector headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels measuring 405.6 mm. The sedan measures 4,565 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 2,670 mm, offering improved cabin space and passenger comfort.

The new Verna also introduces advanced driver-assistance technologies such as a surround-view monitor, blind-spot view monitor, and Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS with 20 safety functions.

Under the hood, the sedan is powered by two petrol engine options. The 1.5-litre MPI petrol engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an IVT gearbox, while the 1.5-litre turbo GDi engine is available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

The turbocharged engine produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque, delivering strong performance across different driving conditions. Additional driving features include paddle shifters, selectable drive modes (Normal, Eco, and Sport), and Idle Stop-and-Go technology.
