Junior NTR Embroiled in Controversy, Petition Filed in High Court

Junior NTR has approached the state's high court amid a dispute over his property. An issue has arisen regarding 681 square yards of land in Jubilee Hills Housing Society. He claimed to have acquired this land from a woman named Geetha in 2003. He possesses all the legal documents related to it. However, the government subsequently approved the construction of a house on that land. But individuals who claim ownership of the land allege that he mortgaged the land to banks in 1996 and defaulted on the loan, leading to recovery proceedings under the SARFAESI Act by the SBI, Oriental Bank of Commerce, IndusInd Bank, and Bank of Baroda.

Challenging the bank notices, Junior NTR initially filed a petition in the lower court through his lawyers. The lower court ruled in favor of the banks, declaring their rights over the land. Subsequently, based on a complaint filed by Junior NTR, a case was registered against Geetha for cheating him on the basis of forged documents. Junior NTR then approached the high court regarding the lower court's decision. Justices Sujatha and J. Enavasara Rao heard the arguments on Thursday. In this context, Junior NTR's lawyers requested more time as they did not have a copy of the lower court's order. Therefore, the court dismissed the hearing and requested the vacation bench to post the hearing to June 6. Orders were issued to submit all related documents to the court by June 3.
