Delhi Metro Pink Line extension
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has proposed extending the Pink Line to connect North-East Delhi with Ghaziabad's Trans Hindon area. This 13 km extension will feature over 10 stations and aims to improve travel to densely populated regions. The route will run from Gokalpuri in Delhi to Arthala in Ghaziabad, passing through Dilshad Garden Extension-2, DLF, and Hindon Airport.
If approved, the extension will link the Red and Pink Lines, enhancing connectivity between Ghaziabad and various parts of Delhi, including South Delhi and North-East Delhi. Currently, Ghaziabad has two metro lines: the Blue Line and the Red Line. The new Pink Line extension will provide direct metro access from Ghaziabad to numerous key areas in Delhi, streamlining travel and improving connectivity.
