Naari Naari Naduma Murari Review: Sharwanand Shines in a Light-Hearted Drama

Sharwanand, Samyuktha, and Sakshi Vaidya appear in the lead roles in the film Naari Naari Naduma Murari. Released during the recent Sankranthi season, this movie stands out as a wholesome entertainer and has emerged as one of the festival highlights. Producer Anil Sunkara confidently stated earlier that Sankranthi has always favored Sharwanand, and that belief has clearly paid off. Though both Anil Sunkara and Sharwanand had been away from major box office success for some time, their confidence was not misplaced. The film proves that faith and solid content can still bring results. Among all the Sankranthi releases this year, Naari Naari Naduma Murari firmly secures a spot in the top three entertainers.

Coming to the storyline, Gautam (Sharwanand) and Nithya (Sakshi Vaidya), who live as neighbors in Kerala, fall deeply in love. Their relationship continues even after they relocate to Hyderabad. However, obstacles arise when Gautam tries to convince his family for marriage. His father Karthik (Naresh) becomes a major hurdle, especially after his second marriage, which initially causes Nithya’s father to reject the proposal. Eventually, Nithya’s father agrees to a registered marriage. But peace does not last long, as Gautam’s past resurfaces. His former wife Diya (Samyuktha), with whom he shares a history of love, marriage, and divorce, reenters his life. Adding to the chaos, Diya joins the same office where Gautam and Nithya work, taking on the role of team leader.

The director presents Gautam’s emotional struggle between two women in a highly entertaining manner. As the story unfolds, viewers clearly understand the relevance of the film’s title. Director Ram Abbaraju effectively highlights how unresolved past relationships can disrupt attempts to begin a fresh chapter in life. The narrative also sends a subtle message through Naresh’s character, emphasizing that love and marriage are not restricted by age. Audiences are likely to connect strongly with Naresh, as his role feels realistic and relatable. More than just a character, his presence resonates due to similarities with real-life experiences, making his performance even more enjoyable.

The film maintains a lively pace throughout. Several scenes deliver consistent humor, especially those involving Sampath Raj and Vennela Kishore during the Gurupuja sequences, which generate loud laughter. Ram Abbaraju, who previously made his directorial debut with Samajavara Gamana, once again collaborates with Bhanu and Nandu. One handles the story while the other pens the dialogues, and together the trio ensures an uninterrupted entertainment flow. The movie never feels slow, moving briskly from beginning to end.

Performance-wise, Sharwanand appears relaxed and confident, delivering one of his most comfortable performances in recent times. His comic timing stands out and suits the role perfectly. Naresh, as Gautam’s father, once again proves his strength, similar to his impactful role in Samajavara Gamana. Siri Hanmanthu plays his wife and Sharwanand’s aunt effectively. Both female leads perform well, though Sakshi Vaidya’s screen presence is limited. She leaves a decent impression within the available space, while Samyuktha’s character feels more dominant. Notably, Sakshi previously worked with Anil Sunkara in Agent, which did not succeed commercially, but this film brings her much-needed recognition.

The supporting cast adds great value, with Satya, Sudarshan, Vennela Kishore, Sunil, and Madhunandan delivering competitive and entertaining performances. Srikanth Iyengar, Raghu Babu, and Getup Srinu appear in notable supporting roles. Sree Vishnu’s surprise entry in the climax is handled exceptionally well, giving the film a satisfying and complete feel. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music and background score complement the narrative beautifully.

Overall, this Sankranthi release arrives as a timely success for both Sharwanand and Anil Sunkara. The film delivers exactly what it promises: lighthearted entertainment with emotional depth.
