AP TET 2025 Exam Details

The APTET October 2025 examination will be conducted fully online across district headquarters, municipalities, revenue divisions, and mandals within the state.

If required, based on the number of applicants and subject categories, exam centres may also be provided in adjoining districts of neighbouring states.

Candidates can select preferred districts from the options provided on the official AP TET website. However, the final decision on centre allocation rests solely with the department. No requests for changing the exam centre or session will be accepted. Centre allocation will follow a first-come, first-served process.

The Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-October-2025) will be carried out by the Andhra Pradesh School Education Department through CBT mode in all districts.

The primary purpose of the exam is to maintain national-level standards in teacher recruitment, as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Qualifying in the TET is mandatory for individuals seeking teaching positions in government or private schools covered under Section 2(n) of the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
