The CBSE is collaborating with the British Council to develop a framework for internal assessments in science for Classes 6 to 12, aiming to address concerns about “inconsistency and potential inflation of marks.

Additionally, the CBSE is considering CCTV surveillance in exam classrooms to manage “disturbances at exam centers.” This measure will provide real-time feedback for better exam administration.

The new framework will align with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) and Holistic Progress Cards.

Capacity-building workshops will be organized to ensure consistency and fairness in assessments, tackling issues like “inequity in educational outcomes and student disengagement.
