NEET UG 2024: Supreme Court Decision Leads to Major Result Revisions

NEET UG Results 2024

The NEET UG 2024 results have been declared amidst controversy. After the Supreme Court ruled that despite irregularities and a paper leak, canceling the exam wasn't justified, the NTA was instructed to release the revised results promptly. The final results show significant changes: 4.2 lakh candidates have lost 5 marks each due to the revisions. The number of top scorers with 720 out of 720 has decreased from 61 to 17. The cut-off marks have increased from 720-137 to 720-164 for the General and General-PH categories.

NTA's revised results are available at NTA NEET Revised Scorecard. Out of 24,06,079 registered candidates, 23,33,297 appeared for the exam. A dispute over a question in Physics led to a review, but the expert committee confirmed there was only one correct answer.
