Delhi, India: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025, conducted from August 22 to August 31, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official UPSC websites — upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in.

Those who have qualified in the Main Examination will next appear for the Personality Test (Interview), which serves as the final stage of selection for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and various Central Services (Group A & B).

The Commission will soon release the schedule for the Personality Tests. The interviews will take place at the UPSC headquarters, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi – 110069. Candidates will be able to download their e-Summon Letters for the Personality Test from the UPSC’s official portals. If any candidate faces issues downloading the e-summon letter, they are advised to reach out to the Commission through letter or telephone for assistance.

Qualified candidates must update and submit their educational and personal details online, including proof of passing the required qualifying examination. Along with this, applicants must verify and upload other details such as:

• Correspondence and permanent address
• Higher educational qualifications
• Professional achievements, if any
• Employment history or service experience
• Information on services allotted in earlier Civil Services Examinations (if applicable)
• Marital status and parental details
• PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) status, if recommended earlier
• Details of any debarment
• Attempts made in previous exams
• OBC/EWS annexures (if applicable)
• Socio-economic questionnaire

Even those candidates who have previously uploaded all necessary documents and have no new details to update must log in, review their information, and submit it online to generate their e-summon letter for the interview stage.
