Beetroot Biryani is both delicious and Healthy

Ingredients:

3 cups of Basmati rice

2 beetroots

2 onions

1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste

5 green chilies

4 tablespoons of coriander powder

4 tablespoons of mint extract

2 tablespoons of coriander powder

1 tablespoon of garam masala

Salt to taste

Sufficient oil

4 biryani leaves

4 peppercorns

2 teaspoons of chili powder

1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

Instructions:

Wash and soak the Basmati rice for 30 minutes.

Finely grate the beetroot and set aside.

Heat oil in a cooker and fry biryani leaves until fragrant.

Add chopped onions and green chilies; fry until golden brown.

Stir in ginger-garlic paste and fry until the raw smell disappears.

Add grated beetroot, coriander powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, peppercorns, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and fry for 2 minutes.

Add pre-soaked Basmati rice and fry for another 2 minutes.

Pour enough water to boil the rice and sprinkle coriander and mint on top.

Cover the cooker and cook until two whistles.

Once the steam releases, open the cooker, and the Beetroot Biryani is ready to serve.
