Kia has expanded its Carens Clavis range by introducing a brand-new variant called the HTE (EX). This latest addition strengthens the lineup with more features and options. The G1.5 petrol version of this variant is priced at Rs 12,54,900 (ex-showroom), while the G1.5 turbo-petrol model costs Rs 13,41,900. Meanwhile, the D1.5 diesel option carries an ex-showroom price of Rs 14,52,900.

The newly launched HTE (EX) variant is offered with three internal combustion engine powertrain choices. It is exclusively available in a seven-seat layout. Positioned slightly above the existing HTE (O) trim, this version is designed for buyers seeking enhanced features and a more premium experience.

One of the most significant upgrades in the Sunroof HTE (EX) variant is the introduction of a Skylight electric sunroof in the Carens Clavis G1.5 petrol model. This marks the first time a sunroof has been made available with this particular engine option.

Cabin comfort has also been upgraded, with the inclusion of fully automatic climate control in the HTE (EX) variant. On the outside, the vehicle benefits from LED daytime running lights along with LED position lamps, adding to its modern appearance.

Inside the cabin, both convenience and safety see improvements through the addition of LED interior lighting for better visibility. The driver also gets an auto up and down function for the power window, enhancing everyday usability.
