Bank FD: Do you know which banks offer the highest interest rate to senior citizens?

SBI FD Rates : State Bank of India has fixed interest rates of 75 basis points on tenors of 46 days to 179 days. The interest rate for senior citizens has been increased from 5.25 percent to 6 percent. It has also increased the tenure from 180 days to 210 days by 25 basis points.6.50 percent interest is being offered to senior citizens. From 211 days to one-year tenures, 6.75 percent interest has been increased by 25 basis points. Currently, this bank is offering 7.50 percent interest on deposits of 5 to 10 years to senior citizens.
ICICI Bank : This private sector bank offers senior citizens 3.50 percent to 7.75 percent interest on tenors of 7 days to 10 years. Interest is offered at 7.75 percent on deposits with a maximum tenor of 15 months to 2 years. The new rates will be effective from February 17, 2024.
HDFC Bank FD Rates : 3.50% to 7.75% on deposits of up to Rs.2 crore with tenors of 7 days to 10 years. It is offering 7.75 percent to senior citizens on tenures of a maximum of 18 months to 21 months.
Canara Bank : This public sector bank offers interest rates ranging from 4 percent to 7.25 percent to senior citizens. Looking at the maximum interest rate, 7.75 percent interest rates are being offered on the 444-day special scheme. The new rates have been made available from February 19, 2024.
Axis Bank : In this private bank, interest rates of 3.50 percent to 7.75 percent are given to seniors on tenures of 7-10 years. Interest rates of 7.85 percent are being offered on tenure deposits within a maximum period of 17 months to 18 months. The new rates will be effective from May 13, 2024.
