The Central Government is supporting this project, which aims to create a website called Bhashini for translation. This software will translate spoken language into the listener's language in real time, overcoming issues like those in Google and Alexa.

Research, led by Professor Ramesh Loganathan, is 70% complete. The software will detect the language of speech, convert it to text, and then translate it into the desired language. It will support fourteen Indian languages, enhancing communication for travelers and in customer care scenarios.
