1. Group 1 Prelims Exam: Preliminary examination for filling 563 Group-1 posts in the state will be held on the 9th of this month (Sunday) from 10:30 AM to 1 PM.

2. The examination will be conducted in OMR method, and TGPSC has made extensive arrangements for it.

3. For the prelims, 4.03 lakh candidates will be appearing across the state.

4. 895 examination centers have been set up, with Medchal-Malkajgiri district having the highest number of 105 centers.

5. Candidates will be allowed into the centers from 9 AM, as stated by the Commission.

6. The gates will be closed half an hour before the exam starts, i.e., after 10 AM.

7. All candidates are required to affix a passport photograph taken within the last three months on the hall ticket.

8. Candidates must bring one original photo ID along with the hall ticket.

9. Officials have advised candidates to take the hall ticket as a laser color print on A4 size paper.
