Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara to Compete with Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Nexon EV

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled its first electric vehicle, the e-Vitara, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Set for full launch in March, this electric SUV will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG Windsor EV, Tata Nexon EV, and Tata Curve EV.

The e-Vitara features a striking design with Y-shaped LED DRLs, connected taillights, and a bold front bumper with fog lights. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a center console, sunroof, hill hold, and all-wheel drive. Safety is a priority with 7 airbags as standard.

Key features include a dual-screen dashboard, wireless charging, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS. The e-Vitara offers two battery options: a 49kWh battery producing 144hp and a 61kWh battery delivering 174hp, with torque of 189Nm. The AWD variant, featuring the larger battery, boosts the power output to 184hp and 300Nm of torque.
