An Israeli tourist and a homestay operator were allegedly gang-raped near Sanapur Lake, Hampi, on Thursday night. Three men attacked the women and their male companions, pushing them into a canal. While two managed to escape, one, Bibash from Odisha, drowned, and his body was found on Saturday. The incident occurred around 11:30 pm when the victims were stargazing. The accused initially asked for petrol and money before turning violent. A case has been registered, and six special teams are investigating.
