PM Narendra Modi Meditates At The Vivekananda Rock Memorial Viral Video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi transformed into a saint during his visit to Kanniyakumari, where he embarked on a spiritual journey after the conclusion of the general election campaign.

Dressed in crimson robes, Modi meditated at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, creating a serene atmosphere. Videos and photos of this event quickly went viral. Modi devoted 45 hours to meditation in Kanyakumari, amidst tight security arrangements.

This pilgrimage holds significance as it follows Modi's tradition of visiting spiritual sites after elections. Previously, he visited Kedarnath in 2019 and Pratapgarh in Maharashtra in 2014.

Kanyakumari was chosen due to its cultural importance, being the place where Swami Vivekananda experienced a spiritual awakening. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where Modi meditated, holds special significance in Vivekananda's life, similar to Sarnath for Gautama Buddha.

Legend has it that Swami Vivekananda attained enlightenment after meditating at this very spot, where Goddess Parvati also performed penance. Geographically, Kanyakumari marks the southernmost point of India, where the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and the Arabian Sea converge.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha elections for 543 seats began on April 19, with polling concluding on June 1 and counting on June 4.
