iQOO has officially hinted at the India launch of the upcoming iQOO 15R, expanding its premium smartphone portfolio in the country. The brand confirmed that the new device will join the iQOO 15 series, signalling a refreshed design language and near-flagship-level specifications aimed at the premium mid-range segment.

The announcement was shared by Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, via a post on X, where he also offered a first look at the handset. The teaser image reveals a distinctive checkered rear panel paired with a dual-camera setup housed in a cuboid-style camera module. This design marks a noticeable departure from iQOO’s existing smartphones currently available in India.

Interestingly, the overall design closely resembles the recently launched iQOO Z11 Turbo in China, sparking speculation that the iQOO 15R could be a rebranded or modified version of that model for the Indian market. If accurate, the device may offer a strong blend of high-performance hardware and a fresh visual identity.

Expected Specifications of iQOO 15R

According to leaks and certification listings, the iQOO 15R is expected to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
