OPPO Reno15 Series Brings AI Photography, IP69 Durability and Compact Pro Mini

OPPO Reno15 Series

OPPO Reno15 Series: The Indian smartphone market is steadily evolving beyond raw specifications, with consumers now prioritising usability, design, and intelligent features over mere hardware numbers. Addressing this shift, the newly launched OPPO Reno15 Series focuses on delivering a balanced, lifestyle-centric smartphone experience tailored for modern users.

The OPPO Reno15 lineup includes the Reno15, Reno15 Pro, and the newly introduced Reno15 Pro Mini. Rather than positioning itself as a conventional performance upgrade, the series emphasises intuitive AI-powered photography, refined design, and durability suited for everyday Indian conditions.

Compact flagship experience without compromise

One of the highlights of the series is the Reno15 Pro Mini, which offers flagship-level performance in a compact form factor. It features a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display, making it comfortable for one-handed use while maintaining visual clarity. Weighing just 187 grams, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, delivering performance comparable to the larger Reno15 Pro, which features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display for users who prefer a larger screen.

Refined design with premium materials

The Reno15 Series introduces a new HoloFusion design language that gives the rear panel a layered, three-dimensional appearance. Pro models feature an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, ensuring enhanced durability alongside aesthetics. The design reacts dynamically to light, offering a subtle yet premium visual appeal, complemented by a halo-style camera module.

AI-powered photography experience

Photography remains a key focus of the Reno15 Series. The Pro and Pro Mini variants are equipped with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL primary camera, designed to capture high-detail images that allow extensive cropping without loss of clarity. A 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom enhances long-range photography, while PureTone technology ensures natural skin tones for realistic portrait shots.

Smart lighting and creative tools

Running on ColorOS 16, the Reno15 Series integrates AI-driven editing tools aimed at simplifying post-processing. Features such as AI Portrait Glow allow users to adjust facial lighting even after capturing an image, simulating studio-like conditions. Additionally, the Popout feature enables subjects to be separated from backgrounds, creating visually engaging 3D-style images ideal for social media sharing.

Built for Indian conditions

To withstand diverse environmental challenges, the Reno15 Series comes with an IP69 rating, offering protection against dust, water submersion, and high-pressure water jets. An All-Round Armour Body and an internal shock-absorbing structure inspired by marine sponge design further enhance durability. These features are standard across all models, including the base Reno15, which is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform.

Long-lasting battery and fast charging

Battery performance is another strong point of the series. The Reno15 Pro and standard Reno15 feature a 6,500mAh battery, while the Pro Mini houses a slightly smaller 6,200mAh unit. All models support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, enabling near-full charging in under an hour, making the devices suitable for heavy daily usage and travel.

Smarter software experience

The Reno15 Series runs on Android 16 with deep integration of Google Gemini AI. Users can access voice-based assistance, summarise lengthy recordings, and generate content such as captions through built-in AI tools. Priced from ₹45,999 for the Reno15 and going up to ₹67,999 for the Reno15 Pro, the lineup reflects a shift towards more human-centric smartphone innovation.
