Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max on Monday, showcasing enhanced display sizes, cutting-edge camera features, and the introduction of Apple Intelligence, according to Xinhua.

Apple Intelligence, the company’s proprietary generative AI system, debuts on iPhone with a user-friendly interface that leverages personal data securely to deliver useful and relevant insights, all while safeguarding privacy.

The upgraded camera system on the Pro models boasts a new 48MP Fusion camera with a faster quad-pixel sensor, allowing 4K120 fps video capture in Dolby Vision. Additional improvements include a 48MP Ultra Wide lens for high-resolution photos and a 5x Telephoto lens on both Pro versions.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is also equipped with the longest battery life ever seen on an iPhone, according to Apple.

With the thinnest bezels in Apple’s history, the new Pro models feature larger screens: 6.3 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, marking the largest display in the iPhone lineup to date.

Available in four finishes-black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and desert titanium-the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be open for pre-orders on Friday, Sept 13, and hit stores on Friday, Sept 20.

“The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, built with the powerful A18 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence, are our most sophisticated iPhones yet,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
