A tragic accident occurred early Thursday morning in Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand, when a bus bound for Patna from Kolkata overturned. The accident, which took place around 6 AM near Gorhar Police Station, left seven dead and twelve injured, with five passengers trapped inside the wreckage.

The bus, carrying approximately 50 people, lost control while navigating a turn and toppled over. Witnesses speculated that dense fog might have contributed to the crash by reducing visibility. Meanwhile, a se incident on the Yamuna Expressway in Aligarh on Thursday resulted in five deaths and fifteen injuries after a double-decker bus collided with a truck in dense fog. The crash occurred when the truck attempted to overtake the bus.
