Polling for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held on Monday in 10 states across the country, including AP and Telangana. Elections for Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies are also going to be held in AP. In the fourth phase, AP (25), Telangana (17), Bihar (5), Jharkhand (4), Madhya Pradesh (8), Maharashtra (11), Odisha (4), UP (13), West Bengal (8), Jammu and Kashmir (1) Polling will be held in Lok Sabha constituencies. The Election Commission has completed arrangements to ensure that polling is conducted in a peaceful atmosphere in all states.

In the fourth phase, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is contesting from Kannauj constituency. In Uttar Pradesh, along with Kannauj, Shahjahanpur, Kheri, Daurahara, Sitapur, Hardoi, Misrikh, Unnao, Farrukhabad, Etah, Kanpur, Akbarpur and Bahraich constituencies, polling will be held on Monday. Along with Akhilesh, TMC leaders Mahua Moitra (Krishnanagar - Bengal), Shatrughan Sinha (Asansol - Bengal), BJP chief leaders Giriraj Singh (Begusarai - Bihar) and Arjun Munda (Khunti - Jharkhand) are among the celebrities in the 4th phase of the contest.
