India has made significant progress towards enhancing its domestic defense capabilities. The Indian Army has successfully conducted field tests of the 'Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile' (MPATGM) weapon system developed by DRDO with indigenous knowledge so that it can be carried by a man with less weight.
DRDO officials revealed on Sunday that the trials conducted at Pokhran Field Firing Range (PFFR) in Rajasthan were successful.MPATGM weapon system includes launchers, target acquisition devices, and fire control units. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and the Indian Army for successfully testing this system.
