Amaravati: The new government has decided to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) along with mega DSC. The mega DSC notification will be issued on July 1. The education department has issued an order quashing the election DSC notification given by the previous government. There are only 6,100 teacher posts in the notification issued by the YSRCP government. Recently, the coalition government announced a mega DSC with 16,347 posts.
The government has also decided to conduct TET along with mega DSC as there are students who have not qualified in the TET conducted in February and March and those who have completed the BEd and DEd courses after the announcement of this TET. Applications for TET and Mega DSC will be accepted simultaneously with a slight change in dates. The TET will be conducted first. After that, the authorities have initially decided to give 30 days to prepare for the DSC. This will be followed by the DSC exam. On July 1, the officials completed the exercise to issue advertisements for mega DSC and TET. Those who have applied for the previous DSC will not have to pay fees. However, a new application will have to be made.
