The fascination with dinosaurs continues as a massive dinosaur skeleton, recently discovered, was sold at auction for Rs. 81 crore. This 150-million-year-old skeleton, named "Apex," measures 11 feet long and 8.2 meters wide, making it the largest and most complete Stegosaurus ever found.

Apex, discovered in Colorado in May 2022 by scientist Jason Cooper, surpasses the previously most complete skeleton, Sophie, by 30 percent. The auction, conducted by Sotheby's in New York, saw intense competition, ultimately breaking all previous records for dinosaur skeleton sales. Cassandra Hutton, head of Sotheby's, remarked that Apex now holds a significant place in history.
