Blinkit Launches 10-Minute Emergency Ambulance Service

Blinkit Ambulance: Blinkit, a popular quick-commerce platform, has launched a new service in Gurugram. From January 2, 2025, Blinkit Ambulance services have been made available. Known for fast delivery so far, Blinkit will now provide ambulance services within just 10 minutes. This service will be extremely beneficial in saving lives during emergencies.

Initially, this service has been launched in Gurugram, and soon it will be expanded to other cities as well. The service has started with 5 ambulances in Gurugram, part of the Delhi NCR region. The Blinkit ambulances are equipped with essential devices like oxygen cylinders and Automated External Defibrillators (AED).

The CEO of the company, Albinder Dhindsa, shared on Twitter (X): "Starting today, the first 5 ambulances will be operational on the roads of Gurugram."As this service expands to more regions, you will find the option to book Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances through the @letsblinkit app. Our goal is to deliver our ambulance services quickly." Albinder Dhindsa mentioned that the company intends to expand this service to more regions in the coming days.

"The goal is not profit. We aim to provide this service to customers at an affordable price. Solving this long-standing issue is the purpose of this service," said the startup founder. Blinkit is targeting expansion to all major cities over the next two years. Dhindsa further urged the public to always give way to ambulances in order to help save lives.

How to Book Blinkit Ambulance?

Booking the ambulance service is very simple. You can visit the Blinkit app and book a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance. This ambulance service works quickly during emergencies.

The newly launched Blinkit ambulances are equipped with oxygen cylinders, monitors, stretchers, and medical equipment. Additionally, other medical tools are also available. "Our Blinkit ambulances are equipped with oxygen cylinders, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), monitors, stretchers, emergency medicines, and injectables that help in life-threatening situations," said Blinkit CEO on X. Every ambulance also has a paramedic, helper, and a trained driver.
