Karti Chidambaram Chinese visa scam
The CBI has filed a chargesheet against Congress MP Karti Chidambaram and others, including Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd and S Bhaskararaman, in connection with a Chinese visa scam. The case involves alleged corruption related to obtaining Home Ministry approval in 2011 for reusing visas for Chinese experts working on a power project in Punjab. Karti Chidambaram is accused of taking a ₹50 lakh bribe for facilitating this approval.
