Delhi Tourist Found Dead

A 20-year-old visitor from Delhi, Harish Tanwar, was killed at Baga Beach in Goa on Sunday night after he resisted a robbery attempt by three individuals, according to police. Tanwar was sitting in a secluded area of the beach when the suspects tried to steal his bag. When he fought back, one of the assailants stabbed him, leading to his immediate death, as confirmed by a Calangute police official.

The body was discovered on Monday morning, and the three accused—Sahil Kumar, Noor Khan, and Sunil Vishwakarma—were arrested the following Tuesday. Noor, originally from Uttar Pradesh, lived in Parra and worked as a tailor in Calangute. Kumar, from Uttarakhand, and Vishwakarma, a native of Nepal, had previously been involved in minor thefts. The trio confessed to the crime upon their arrest.

On Tuesday evening, the three men were presented before the Judicial Magistrate First Class at Mapusa, where they were placed in four-day judicial custody.
