Jharkhand BJP misleading video
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has directed Jharkhand BJP to remove a "misleading" video shared on November 16, following complaints from the INC and JMM. The video, which violated the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), showed a misleading portrayal of communal tensions with the caption "Poore Jharkhand ka kaya palate kar denge." The ECI instructed the Jharkhand CEO to remove the video and seek an explanation from the BJP. The first phase of elections is complete, with the final phase on November 20 and vote counting on November 23.
