Kalaburagi Crash: Five Dead and 11 Injured After Mini-Bus Hits Parked Truck

Five people were killed and 11 others injured in a tragic accident in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, on Saturday. A mini-bus crashed into a parked truck near Nelogi Cross, close to Jevargi town. The victims, from Bagalkot district, were on their way to visit the Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah. Among the deceased were Wajid, Mehaboobi, Priyanka, and Mehaboob, with one person's identity still unknown. The bus carried 31 people, and the injured have been taken to the Ulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

In a separate incident on Thursday, four people died after their car was hit by a speeding luxury bus on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway near Mandya. The car driver attempted to re-enter the highway without noticing the bus behind them, leading to a fatal collision. The car was destroyed, killing all passengers instantly.
