Four Indian Companies Removed From US Sanctions List After Fresh Assessment

US sanctions removed Indian companies

Hyderabad, Telangana, India: The United States has lifted sanctions imposed on four Indian companies following a recent review of their cases. The companies include RRG Engineering Technologies, Lokesh Machines Limited, Galaxy Bearings, and Shaurya Aeronautics. Among them, RRG Engineering Technologies and Lokesh Machines are headquartered in Hyderabad.

The four firms had previously been sanctioned over allegations of conducting business with Russian entities. Following the latest review by US authorities, the restrictions imposed on these companies have now been withdrawn.

In October 2024, the United States sanctioned Galaxy Bearings Ltd., alleging that it exported roller bearings and assembly equipment to Russian entities. Shaurya Aeronautics Pvt. Ltd. faced restrictions over the alleged supply of radar equipment, radio navigational aid equipment, and radio remote control systems to Russia.

Similarly, RRG Engineering Technologies was sanctioned for allegedly supplying more than 100 microelectronics products to Artex Ltd., a Russian company listed under US sanctions. Lokesh Machines Limited was also placed under sanctions over allegations that it supplied multiple machine tools to Russian manufacturing companies.

With the latest decision, the United States has officially removed all four companies from its sanctions list.
