Heavy rains triggered flash floods and cloudbursts in Himachal Pradesh, killing two and leaving 20 missing, including labourers near the Indira Priyadarshini hydroelectric project. Work at the site has been halted. Three cloudbursts struck Sainj, Gadsa, and Solang Nala, triggering massive flooding across Kullu district.

Overflowing Beas and Sutlej rivers inundated low-lying areas, washing away bridges and damaging key roads, including a section of the Manali-Chandigarh highway.

Vehicular movement has come to a standstill, prompting swift rescue efforts by NDRF, SDRF, and local teams. The IMD has issued an orange alert for seven districts, warning of heavy rainfall till June 29.
