Himachal Pradesh Bandh: Hindu Groups Protest Police Action Over Sanjauli Mosque

Himachal Pradesh Bandh

Hindu organizations have called for a bandh in Himachal Pradesh today.

The bandh is in response to police action against protesters in Mandi who demanded the demolition of the Sanjauli mosque.

Shops will be closed from 10 AM to 1:30 PM as requested by Hindu leader Kamal Gautam.

Protests and demonstrations are planned in various key areas of the state.

On September 11, Hindu groups protested in Sanjauli, leading to police action, including lathi charges and water cannons.

Section 144 has been enforced in Shimla district to limit gatherings of more than five people.
